New Pet Supplies Store Opens Saturday

Pet Supplies Plus, a new specialty pet retailer, will open its doors to Centreville residents Saturday, Dec. 1. The store will offer natural pet foods and products made in the U.S.

Danielle Hartle, the store manager, said the store carries pet foods for dogs and cats as well as for smaller animals, such as fish.

"We have a very large selection of natural and holistic dog and cat food. We also carry a lot of small animal products as well," Hartle said. "We also carry a small selection of small animals. We have fish, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs and some reptiles."

Hartle said the Centreville area was chosen because Pet Supplies Plus is a neighborhood pet store that is usually located in a convenient place for residents, such as shopping centers near people's homes.

Pet Supplies Plus is located at 5629-31 Stone Rd. Regular hours are Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Hartle said the store will also work with local animal shelters and organizations to arrange public pet adoptions.
