Police: CVS in Centreville Robbed at Gunpoint on Easter Sunday
Police say store was one of two CVS stores robbed Sunday in Fairfax County. Detectives are determining whether incidents are linked.

Fairfax County Police detectives are investigating two incidents of armed robberies involving CVS stores on Easter Sunday in Fairfax County, according to a news release Monday from police.

One of the incidents took place Sunday just after 4 p.m. at the CVS store located at 9009 Silverbrook Road in the Lorton area. A man approached the pharmacy, demanded a variety of drugs and revealed a pistol to the technician. He took the medications and fled.
The suspect was described as white, in his mid 20s, between 5 feet 7 and 5 feet 9 inches tall, and thin. He wore a black hoody sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head. He may have been driving a dark silver pickup truck, driving westbound on Silverbrook Road.

A second crime took place earlier Sunday, around 10:30 a.m. at the CVS store at 5652 Pickwick Road in Centreville. Similarly to the earlier crime, a man demanded a variety of medications, revealed a pistol, but fled prior to grabbing the drugs.
The suspect was also described as white and thin. He wore a dark hoodie, black pants, and white sneakers. He wore a black beanie underneath the hood. Detectives are investigating whether or not these incidents may be related.
