Chantilly Girls Defeat George Mason in Pohanka Chantilly Classic Basketball Tournament
Chantilly had a strong opening game defeating George Mason 60-38.
The Chargers came out ready to roll for the home crowd in their opening game of the beating the Mustangs from George Mason 60-38.
Junior Allison Rowe led the way with a dominating 25-point, 11-rebound game. Senior Carmen Watson did her part as well with a great all-around game of 10 points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals.
The Chargers led by 12 at halftime and kept their foot on the pedal throughout the second half. The Mustangs missed 10 first-half free throws that would have undoubtedly kept them in the game.

Junior Stephanie Cheney led the Mustangs in scoring with 12 points followed by sophomore Ashley Alexander with 10 points.
The Chantilly girls will take on Deep Run tonight at 9:15 p.m.
