Bull Run 'Festival of Lights' 2014 Opens Wednesday for Holiday Season

The Bull Run Festival of Lights begins Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 7700 Bull Run Drive, at Bull Run Regional Park in Centreville off of Route 29. To reach Bull Run, take I-66 to Exit 52 (Route 29) at Centreville, drive two miles south, turn left onto Bull Run Post Office Road and follow the signs to the park entrance. The lights display is open from Wednesday, Nov. 19 to Sunday, Jan. 4. Hours are:

• Monday – Thursday: 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
• Fridays – Sunday and holidays*: 5:30 to 10 p.m.

*(Holidays include Thanksgiving day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day)

The Bull Run Festival of Lights is more than just a light show. After enjoying two and a half miles of light displays, don’t forget to stop at the Holiday Village. Complete with bonfires, s’mores, holiday merchandise, and free children’s activities, the Holiday Village is fun for the whole family. You can get your photo taken with Santa, too.

2014 Holiday Village Schedule
The Village will be open from 5:30 pm – 10 pm in December per the following schedule:

• Thursday, Dec. 4 – Sunday, Dec. 7
• Thursday, Dec. 11 – Sunday, Dec. 28
• The last day for Santa photos is Tuesday, Dec. 23

Hours for the Holiday Village are 5:30 pm-9:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and 5:30 pm-10 pm Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holiday nights (Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).
