<a href="https://faith250.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">faith250</a>is a national program engaging hundreds of congregations in dozens of multifaith clusters beginning right here in Northern Virginia. The local Reston/Herndon cluster will be hosting a celebration of July 4th 2:00-4:00pm at Floris United Methodist Church. The event will begin with a civic ritual created by a multi-faith group of congregations, which includes a review of our local history, songs, poetry, quotations from famous American documents, and an opportunity for each participant to express their hopes for America’s future.&nbsp; Then, we will gather for creative arts, service projects, activities, and opportunities to build up local civic life. This is our community’s way to mark this momentous national milestone.
