PHOTOS: Celebrating 30 Years at Walney Visitor Center

The Walney Visitor Center, located in the celebrated its 30th anniversary this past Saturday. Approximately 232 people participated in the many activities and demonstrations.

The goal of the event was not only to celebrate 30 years of memories, but to promote the importantance of wildlife. In the coming weeks, the park will become a "testing ground" for many new techniques for wildlife preservation, and hopefully it will become a model for many other parks in the U.S.
