Centreville Man Dies After Getting Struck In 7-Eleven Parking Lot
A Centreville man has died from injuries he suffered when he was hit by a Jeep Gladiator in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven in Chantilly.

CHANTILLY, VA — A Centreville man has died from injuries he suffered when he was hit by a vehicle March 4 in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven in Chantilly, the Fairfax County Police Department said Tuesday.
Police officers responded around 5:30 p.m. on March 4 to 14515 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway to a report of a man who was hit by a 2020 Jeep Gladiator.
Fairfax County detectives determined that Murvin Withers, 61, was walking across the parking lot when the driver of the Jeep accidentally hit him. The driver remained at the scene, the police said.

Withers was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries and died on Sunday.
Detectives determined neither speed nor alcohol were factors in the crash and no charges against the driver of the Jeep are anticipated, according to the police department.
