Matt, Charlottesville, Virginia, native and a long time Creative Dance Center friend, has taught master classes at CDC for several years, choreographed CDC STARS Senior Team in their inaugurral season, and loves working with CDC and northern Virginia students. Matt Stefanina is on staff at IDA, International Dance Academy, in Hollywood, home to many top television shows, including So You Think You Can Dance, America’s Best Dance Crew, and Dancing with the Stars and training facility for countless A-list musicians and actors. Matt is currently signed with Clear Talent Group, is choreographing for EMI artist Fawni, and has worked with artists such as Chris Brown, DJ Tiesto, Snoop Dogg, Jay Leno, Busta Rhymes, and Lil Wayne and more.

CDC STARS is a competitive dance program at Creative Dance Center offering classes and co-ed Youth, Junior, Senior and Adult level teams in jazz, hip hop, and pom for dancers age 8 and up. Ashburn CDC STARS compete locally and nationally in the All Star circuit to obtain a bid to the prestigious All Star Worlds Championships in Orlando Florida. CDC STARS instructors are All Star industry professionals and offer the most current competitive choreography and styles. Dancers from our programs have gone on to dance teams at Alabama, Virginia Tech, UVA, Auburn, JMU, George Mason, UNC, Elon, Duke, Washington Wizards, Redskinettes, Red Rockers, and Culture Shock, among others.
