Crime Report: Incidents in the Sully District

A list of recent crimes reported through August 1 in the Sully District

The following is a list of some recent police reports in the Chantilly and Centreville areas. This is not a comprehensive list and an arrest does not indicate a conviction. The information was provided by the Fairfax County Police Department.

  • Robbery: Someone attempted to rob a 33-year-old man at the 13600 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy. on July 28. The victim fought back and was injured by a knife, but sustained non-life threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene without stealing anything.
  • Accidental Shooting:
  • Larceny: Tools were stolen from a car at the 13300 block of Brookfield Ct.
  • Larceny: Cash was stolen from a residence at the 14000 block of Keepers Park.
  • Larceny: Tools were stolen from a car at the 4200 block of Kincaid Ct.
  • Larceny: Tags were stolen from a car at the 13400 block of Purple Dusk Ct.
  • Larceny:Tags were stolen from a car at the 13900 block of Rockland Village Dr.
  • Larceny: Cash was stolen from a business at the 5500 block of Sequoia Farms Dr.
  • Larceny: A bicycle was stolen from a resident at the 13500 block of Sierra Dr.
  • Larceny: A dining table and chairs were stolen from a residence at the 14300 block of Uniform Dr.
  • Larceny: A bicycle was stolen from a resident at the 14500 block of William Carr Ln.
  • Vehicle Theft: A 1990 Buick Le Sabre was stolen at the intersection of Rt. 28 and I-66.
