Driver Sought In Hit-And-Run Crash With Injuries On I-66: VA State Police

Virginia State Police are looking for the driver of a white SUV involved in a hit-and-run crash with injuries on I-66 in Fairfax County.

On Feb. 4, around 6:35 p.m., a 2018 black Mazda 3 sedan stopped in traffic on the ramp to Route 28 was rear-ended by white SUV, possibly a Chevrolet, that was missing a rear wiper.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — Virginia State Police are asking the public's help in locating an SUV involved in a hit-and-run crash with injures that occurred earlier this month on Interstate 66 in Fairfax County, according to authorities.

The crash occurred around 6:35 p.m. on Feb. 4 in the exit lane to Route 28 South from westbound I-66, according to VSP. A white SUV, possibly a Chevrolet, rear-ended a 2018 black Mazda 3 sedan that was stopped for traffic. The Mazda driver suffered minor injuries.

The white SUV, which continued onto Route 28, was missing a rear wiper, according to police.
