Earth Day Shred Event April 22nd at Franklin Farm, 10:00 am- 1:00 pm

Assistance League of Northern Virginia has the perfect way to celebrate EARTH DAY, this Saturday, April 22. Join the nonprofit at its semi-annual Shred Event, from 10 am to 1 pm, in the Dairy Lou parking lot at 13501 Franklin Farm Road, Herndon. Bring your important papers to shred; donate your gently used sneakers for our GotSneakers campaign, so the shoes don’t end up in landfills; AND bring nonperishable food items for those in the community who need help. This year’s Earth Day theme is “Invest in our Planet.” With one trip, you can help three important causes, show your support for the Planet AND invest in your local community.
