Freedom Theatre Fairy Tales: "The Big Bad Wolf on Trial" and "Goldilocks on Trial"
Was the Big Bad Wolf really a villain, or was he the victim? And what the destiny of poor little Goldilocks? Children and adults alike will delight in FHS Theatre's upcoming productions of two popular fairy tales--with a twist. The comedies, The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf and Goldilocks on Trial, will take place Friday, Feb. 10 and Sat., Feb 11 at 7:30 p.m. Matinee shows will also be held Sat., Feb 11 and Sun., Feb 12 at 3:00 p.m. TheTrial of the Big Bad Wolf is based in part on the character from the story of the Three Little Pigs, and features some well-known jurors including Humpty Dumpty, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and Jack and Jill. Goldilocks on Trial, written by local Chantilly High School theatre teacher Ed Monk, takes place once again in a mystical fairy take court room, where the fate of Goldilocks has yet to be determined. Will she be convicted of "breaking and entering?" Audience members can take part in this interactive show to decide her fate! These humorous takes on two of the most beloved fairy tales will surely brighten your winter days and be a treat for the entire family. It's a show not to be missed!
