"Spain in the American Revolution" will be the theme of this event at the Sully Historic Site.
Spanish-speaking soldiers helped the American colonies fight for independence from Great Britain. Reenactors from the Spanish Louisiana Regiment demonstrate musket and cannon firing at Sully Historic Site from noon to 4 p.m.
Try fencing and play games. Learn to make sancocho, a traditional Spanish soup. Enjoy other aspects of Hispanic/Latino culture. The cost is $7 per adult and $5 per child. For information, call 703-437-1794.
