Westfield will have a 3-hour delayed opening on Monday, March 21. School will begin at 10:20 a.m.
Please see below for information related to expectations for students who attend an FCPS Academy Class.
Academy Classes will be held AM, Mid-Day and PM!
Students who drive may go as usual. Shuttles will run from Westfield on schedule but the student must provide their own transportation from home to Westfield in the morning.
Parents may drive kids each way to the Academy Class, if preferred.
Students who have a Period 2 Academy class only, will not have a class here at Westfield until 4th period which begins at 11:13 a.m.
Students who have a Period 2 and 4 Academy class will not have class at Westfield until 6th Period at 1:21PM.
Students who attend PM Academy, for Period 6-7 will go as usual but will not have time for lunch at Westfield so students are encouraged to bring a snack or bagged lunch.
PM Academy students will have to choose between staying at Westfield for 4th Period and going to Academy for 6th.
The Library will be available to Academy students while waiting for their next period class to begin.
Students who miss an Academy class or a Westfield class due to a conflict related to the adjusted schedule, will be excused from their missed class.
