Home Depot Thieves Arrested In Chantilly: Police
Three people loading stolen merchandise into the back of a box truck outside a Home Depot were arrested, according to the LCSO.
CHANTILLY, VA—Three people loading stolen merchandise into the back of a box truck outside the Home Depot in the 25000 block of Riding Center Plaza were arrested last Saturday, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
- Marina Aronova, 33, of Freehold, N.J., was charged with grand larceny, conspiracy to commit larceny, possession of a controlled substance, larceny with intent to sell, unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of paraphernalia.
- Mario A. Malpica, 25, of Charlotte, was charged with grand larceny, conspiracy to commit larceny, unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of marijuana.
- Jose M. Ortiz, 49, of Central Islip, N.Y., was charged with conspiracy to commit larceny, unauthorized use of a vehicle, larceny with intent to sell and concealing/larceny (altering tags/merchandise).
Police were summoned to the scene around 3:15 p.m. by a Home Depot employee. No other details were released, except that the merchansise was "miscellaneous appliances." All three people are being held without bond.
