Home Surveillance Footage Sought From Chantilly Residents
A woman was assaulted Tuesday morning in Chantilly, and police are asking residents to review home surveillance footage for leads: LCSO.

CHANTILLY, VA — Authorities are asking residents to review their home surveillance video from Tuesday morning in the Priesters Pond Drive area to help identify a man involved in an assault of a woman, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. He's described as white, 5-11 with a stocky build and light curly hair. He was wearing a black short sleeve shirt and khaki pants.
Shortly after 9:30 a.m., according to police, an unknown man approached the woman from behind and struck her one time before fleeing on foot across a field near Sarazen Drive. She suffered minor injuries. Police want to see whether surveillance video turns up anyone suspicious. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-1021.
