CHANTILLY, VA—A juvenile was arrested Wednesday night after being found with a handgun and drugs in the area of Ulysses Street and Pelican Drive, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. He was charged with possession of a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm under the age of 18.
Around 10:15 p.m., an officer saw three boys with backpacks walking in a residential neighborhood. He began a "consensual" conversation, during which one of them removed a handgun from his waistband and tried to throw it into some bushes.
That prompted further investigation, and all three were found to be juveniles, two of which were released to the custody of their parents.
