Man Accused of Setting House Fire in Chantilly

Chantilly resident charged in August fire.

A Chantilly man is accused of setting a house fire in the area last month, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

Anthony Hernandez, 24, Chantilly, is charged with burning an occupied building, a class four felony.

He’s accused in connection to a basement house fire on Aug. 19 at 13505 King Charles Drive

There were no injuries. Damage was estimated at $200.

Hernandez is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
