Man Busted After Fleeing From Crash In Chantilly: Police

A hit-and-run driver led police on a chase in Chantilly before finally being caught, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

CHANTILLY, VA—A hit-and-run driver led police on a chase both by vehicle and by foot Friday in the area of Braddock Road and Riding Center Drive before finally being caught, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Evan M. Coluccio, 30, of Marshall, was charged with two counts of felony hit and run, felony eluding, driving while suspended and possession of marijuana, with other charges pending.

Around 5 p.m., police responded to the aforementioned scene for a reported crash involving a driver who fled. While heading there, they spotted the vehicle in question and hit their lights but Coluccio tried to lose them by taking side streets.

That's when he hit an occupied vehicle before finally being found behind the 25000 block of Loudoun County Parkway. He tried to run away but was quickly caught.
