Updated: Herndon Man Dies Of Multiple Gunshot Wounds In Chantilly
A Herndon man was identified as the victim of the fatal shooting at the Chantilly Shopping Center, according to the Fairfax County police.
Updated (May 7, 9:15 p.m.): Fairfax County Police identified 26-year-old Brian Constanza-Campos of Herndon as the person who was found fatally shot Friday morning near the Chantilly Shopping Center, according to a police release.
Rescue personnel arriving on the scene Friday morning declared Constanza-Campos deceased. An autopsy will be conducted by the chief medical examiner to ascertain the manner and cause of his death.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the events leading up to the shooting. They are also processing several cartridge cases and other evidence found at the scene.

Police ask anyone with information about the shooting or whether they witnessed someone leaving the scene this morning to call the Major Crimes Bureau at 703-246-7800, option 3. This is the seventh homicide to take place in Fairfax County this year.

CHANTILLY, VA — A man was found dead from gunshot wounds near the Chantilly Shopping Center Friday morning, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Detectives are on the scene in the 4300 block of Chantilly Shopping Center Lane.
Fairfax County police officers were dispatched to the scene at 4:44 a.m. Friday, according to WJLA.
The man's name may be disclosed later on Friday after the police have notified his family, WJLA reported.
