Online Grocer Peapod Supports St. Timothy Catholic School's Fifth Graders in Valuable Lesson

Local elementary school donates groceries to food pantry with the help of Peapod.

On February 17th, fifth grade students from St. Timothy Catholic School participated in Peapod’s Kids Give Back Program to provide $250 worth of groceries to St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.

Through the Kids Give Back program, students learned about nutrition, shopping on a budget, and most importantly, helping those in need by using these skills.

Coordinating teacher Kathleen Hunter said, “the food pantry was so grateful for the donation, and it was really special for the students to have this experience.”
