Police Discover Poisonous Snakes in Chantilly Home
They were removed from the home by Animal Control officers, say Fairfax County police.

Police discovered more than a dozen reptiles Wednesday evening in the home of a Chantilly man who was found unconscious, including two venomous snakes. The reptiles were removed from the home, the police said.
The case is under investigation, and the snakes posed no threat to the public, according to the Fairfax County police. They included a Gaboon viper and a Mojave rattlesnake, which are illegal to own in Virginia.
The unidentified man was taken to a local hospital with a non-life threatening condition, the police said. His medical condition was not related to the snakes recovered from his residence, in the 4800 block of Walney Road near Poplar Tree Road.
