President Barack Obama recognizes The Learning Experience in Chantilly for their efforts in Early Childhood Education
Littlest Citizens from The Learning Experience Chantilly receive letter from President Obama
Due in part to President Obama’s focus on early childhood education, The Learning Experience® in Chantilly decided to build models of The White House along with other National Mall monuments as a part of their construction activities that took place during the Academy of Early Education’s 2016 Summer Camp.
The center saw it fit to commemorate their efforts by writing a letter to President Obama which included pictures, showing him how much fun the children had creating the White House and other landmarks. Just weeks before Obama leaves his term as President, the center received a response from the White House. Needless to say, the children and teachers were ecstatic to receive a letter from the President commending them for their great work and reminding them that nothing is beyond their reach if they are willing to “dream big and work hard.”
With a greater national emphasis on educational development during the most crucial years of a child’s growth, a prominent focus at The Learning Experience is placed on programs that create a foundation for scholastic advancement and prepare students for success beyond their formative years.
