Shots Fired By Boy Injure 1, Damage Homes In Chantilly: Police
A juvenile boy was charged Monday in connection with a shooting in Chantilly a day earlier, according to the Fairfax County police.

CHANTILLY, VA — A juvenile boy was charged Monday in connection with a shooting in Chantilly a day earlier, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
County police officers from the Sully District Station responded to a report of gunshots at around 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the 4000 block of Chantilly Lace Court. When they arrived, the police learned that someone was shooting a handgun toward people inside a blue SUV.
The driver of the SUV drove away, and the shooter was seen running inside a nearby home. Detectives arrived on the scene and determined that a juvenile had fired the shots.

The juvenile boy was arrested on Monday and charged with malicious bodily injury, maliciously shooting at a vehicle, unlawful shooting at a car and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, according to the FCPD.
The blue SUV was found in an adjoining jurisdiction, the police said. An occupant of the blue SUV was treated for injuries.
