Small Child Drowns in Chantilly: Police
A small child drowned Thursday afternoon in a pond near his Chantilly home, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

CHANTILLY, VA — A small child drowned in a pond Thursday afternoon near his home in the 25000 block of Potomac Twain Terrace, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Shortly before 4:30 p.m., police responded to the scene and found that the child wandered away from his home and was found unresponsive by family and neighbors looking for him.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
