CHANTILLY, VA—Two incidents of strangers unusually interested in children playing at a field in the area of Eastgate View Drive and Pleasant Valley Drive were reported late last week, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

In the first incident, this past Friday, a man in a white minivan was driving in circles around a parking lot. Then he got out and began jogging backward toward two girls playing in the area. He said nothing and made no physical contact with the girls, who promptly left.

In the second incident, on Saturday, a woman driving a blue-gray minivan was seen driving in the area and appeared to be watching children. She was described as white and in her 20s with blonde hair.
