“Virginia Storm” Professional Basketball Team Announces Home Game Schedule for the Fall
The basketball team with be kicking off their season with an entertaining fundraiser event: The Storm vs. Loudoun County.

The “Virginia Storm” professional basketball team announced its fall home season schedule earlier this week, starting off with a fundraiser game next month on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016. This event will feature the Storm squaring off against a myriad of Loudoun County city officials, team sponsors, coaches and city representatives in order to help raise money for the team. The event is to be hosted at Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, VA. Tip-off time will be at 8PM, but the fun starts much earlier than that! Families and fans alike will have the chance to meet the Virginia Storm Organization’s professional team troupe, The Stormettes, during the event as well, and a CLBL (Central Loudoun Basketball League) Coaches vs. Kids game will take place before the main event at 7PM. Tickets will be $7.00 per individual and available at the door, which opens at 6PM.
All Virginia Storm home games will be held on Saturdays at Patrick Henry College as well starting at 7PM, with the doors opening at 6:15PM. There will be 10 games in total with their official season opener on October 29th, 2016, and season end on March 4th, 2017. Regular home tickets will be $10.00 per adult, $8.00 per student and ages 3 & under get to watch for free! The Virginia Storm Basketball team brings a professional level of play in a family friendly, affordable format that will help raise money for charitable organizations throughout the county and work with existing youth programs to help them reach their goals. The organization will give young adult athletes the opportunity to continue their basketball careers by helping them develop a foundation for potential advancement. The Storm will have home games at Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, VA for their first season of play this fall. A schedule for game times will be available soon.

Virginia Storm Basketball Organization prides itself on the importance of community. The organization includes a professional dance team, the Stormettes, and a non-profit charitable program called the Junior Storm. They interact with their fans at local appearances, supporting community events as well as basketball games. The Junior Storm is a youth program that mirrors the goals and aspirations of the Virginia Storm Basketball Organization.
As stated by Norman Blowe, Jr., co-owner of the Virginia Storm, "We are excited to bring professional basketball to Loudoun County. Our games will bring affordable, family entertainment while supporting non-profits and charitable organizations at the same time."
