 Holiday Model Train Display and Show

• Where: Fairfax Station Railroad Museum, Fairfax Station
• When: Sunday, Dec. 2 from Noon – 4 p.m.
• Why Go: The museum’s biggest event of the year will include model trains, gingerbread cookies, a visit from Santa Claus and more.
• Price: Adults: $5; Children: $1 

Toys for Tots Benefit Square Dance

• Where: Lee Center Exhibit Hall, Alexandria
• When: Sunday, Dec. 2 from 1 – 5 p.m.
• Why Go: This 38^th annual event benefits the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Drive.  All toys and proceeds collected will be distributed in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
• Price: Recommended donation for each couple is a new, unopened toy or a $10 minimum contribution (singles $5).

Holiday Shops and Craft Fairs:

• Holiday Arts and Craft Show at Audrey Moore RECenter, Annandale.  Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Library Events:

• Beyond Fortune Cookies: China Then & Now at Centreville Regional Library, Centreville.  Sunday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m.  For ages 10 and up.  FREE – Registration Required.
• Read, Sing and Play Baby! at Barrett Branch Library, Alexandria.  Sunday, Dec. 2 at 4 p.m.  For ages 0-11 months.  FREE.

Nature Highlights:

• Dr. Seuss: If I Ran the Nature Center… at Hidden Oaks Nature Center, Annandale.  Sunday, Dec. 2 at 2 p.m.  For ages 3 and up.  $6 - $8 per person – Registration Required.
• Gardeners’ Holiday: Puppet Show at Green Spring Gardens, Annandale.  Sunday, Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. For ages 2 and up.  $3 - $5 per person – Registration Required.
