Westfield Gymnastics had two girls compete as part of Individual Competition at the Northern Region Gymnastics Competition at Lake Braddock Secondary School on Feb. 10. Westfields' Delaney Elliott advances to the State Competition having placed second in All-Around, first in Floor, tied for first in Bars, placed fourth in Beam, and tied for seventh in Vault. Teammate Katie Freix placed third in Floor.
While Westfield was not a part of Team Competition, here are the rankings for the schools that did compete: Chantilly first, Stone Bridge second, Washington Lee third, Robinson fourth, Lake Braddock fifth, Woodson sixth, Thomas Jefferson seventh and Edison eighth. The Top 2 teams from each Region will go to States which are scheduled to be held on Feb. 18 and 19.
