Woman Assaults Cops in Chantilly: Police
A woman was found passed out in her vehicle on a road and then assaulted responding officers, says the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
CHANTILLY, VA — A woman found passed out in her vehicle in the middle of a road last Friday night in the 25000 block of Eastern Marketplace Plaza then assaulted responding officers, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Areana M. James, 26, of Fredericksburg, was charged with assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest and public intoxication.
Shortly before 7:30 p.m., police responded to the scene, after which James didn't obey police commands and resisted attempts to arrest her.
