• Mylum to succeed Gilliam as president (thecharlottegazette.com) — Leadership is changing at The Bank of Charlotte County, a key financial institution for Charlotte Court House residents, as longtime president Dabney “Dexter” Gilliam Jr. retires from that role. Paul M. Mylum, a Prince Edward County native with decades of community banking experience, has been named president and will later assume the chief executive officer position as part of a planned succession.
