Singer/songwriter Dar Williams, long a luminous presence in today’s pop-folk-indie music scene, is a unique artist whose music transcends the boundaries of gender and generation. Now Dar is embarking on a new boundary-crossing and definition-defying musical project: a collaboration with the IBIS Chamber Music Society. The program will feature an exciting mix of original arrangements of Dar’s music as well as works by Gershwin, Piazzolla and Bernstein arranged for string quartet, voice and harp.
