Sulu DC Celebrates LGBT Pride Month and Philippine Independence Day

Sulu DC's monthly showcase of Asian-American and Pacific Islander artists continues at Artisphere on June 18! Co-presented by DC APA Film with sounds from The Pinstriped Rebel, this month's show is hosted by spoken word pioneer Regie Cabico and his sister, Charity Cabico. Featured artists include Brandon Wardell, DC-based comedy wunderkind; Kevin Nadal, professor, psychologist, part-time comedian and spoken word poet; Jerrica Escoto, a force in the spoken word community who was a finalist at the 2011 Women of the Word Poetry Slam; and Navja Sol, vagabond artist of all trades. The show will also feature two film shorts from DC APA Film.
