Wavy Gravy, dubbed the "Clown Prince of the Counterculture" , helped keep spirits up at Woodstock and has continued to be known for his humanitarian efforts delivered with a lighthearted touch. This is the only scheduled showing in the D.C. area of this documentary. The movie will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the film's producer and director, Michelle Esrick, and with special guest Dr. Patch Adams.
On a personal note I want you to know that we are bringing this movie to the D.C. area because of our interest in the movie. We are not in the movie business! All proceeds from this event will go to the film’s distribution costs in order to release Wavy's heart-warming vibes far and wide, and The Gesundheit! Institute to help build Patch Adams’ teaching center and clinic.
