Exercise Nation Now Open in Arlington

The gym at 1058 S. Walter Reed Drive is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Exercise Nation Fitness Club opened its newest location recently in the Falstead Building at 1058 S. Walter Reed Drive, near the Columbia Pike intersection.

The fitness club is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

"We are very excited to join the Arlington community. Our newly remodeled location is convenient for everyone who wants the best workout experience possible," Exercise Nation CEO Diana Dutt said in a statement. "Members matter at Exercise Nation. We aim to provide a comfortable atmosphere, a ton of equipment, tanning, hydro-massage, red light therapy, personal training and more…"

Red light therapy is supposed to have anti-aging effects. 

Through March 13, new members can join for a $39 startup fee, $10 per month an an annual fee of $19.

Members have access to more than 80 card machines in front of big screen televisions, along with strength-training machines and free weights, according to a news release. Each location offers a 30-minute card and strength workout circuit. Members also get a free fitness assessment and free subs from Subway once a month.

Exercise Nation will bring at least 12 new jobs to Arlington, with an additional eight to be hired as the establishment grows its membership.

The company bills itself as the only 100-percent female-owned, low-cost fitness club in the country.
