Goodys Pizza Celebrates Seventh Anniversary Family Style

Stop by Sunday for pizza-eating contest.

If you can appreciate a New York slice, then check out on Sunday, which is celebrating its seventh anniversary with a pizza-eating contest.

“It took a while to get established but we treat everyone like our family,” co-owner Vaneessa Reisis said. “I’m like their mom away from home.”

Reisis, who grew up in Arlington and attended Washington-Lee High School, owns the business with her husband, Nick. Her children and daughter-in-law also work at the restaurant.
