Last Chance: Artisphere Wants Teen Filmmakers to 'Shake the Screen'

Space is limited. Camp is first week in April.

Calling aspiring filmmakers, ages 12 to 17.

Registration is now open for a weeklong camp at Artisphere called, "Shake the Screen: Acting, Editing & Directing Shakespeare on Camera."

Space is limited. Cost is $325, though income-based reduced fees are available for qualifiying Arlington County residents.

From April 2 to 6, teens will produce short videos based on Shakespeare's "Henry IV" plays, with a showcase slated for Saturday, April 7.

The intensive camp focuses on acting, directing, scriptwriting and storyboarding, intrepreting Shakespeare, adapting literature to film, filmmaking on a budget and editing using Final Cut Pro software, according to Artisphere.
