Preview: Festival Latinoamericano

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with food, music and fun.

This Sunday, Arlingtonians will have the opportunity to take part in Festival Latinoamericano, Arlington County’s annual Latin American celebration.

The festival, which is free, will feature food vendors, arts and crafts and over a dozen performers, including folkloric dancers from the Bolivian Institute of Arts and Dance. A wide variety of local musicians, ranging from a duo of tango dancers to a Caribbean band, will also perform.

Sixteen information tables will be at the festival, representing county organizations such as Tell Arlington’s Story and the Arlington Latino Network. The Department of Human Resources will also be present to discuss job recruiting and housing information.
