Fatshorty's Opens Thursday in Clarendon

It’s confirmed: beer and brats restaurant Fatshorty’s opens Thursday in Clarendon.

Owners announced in February that the restaurant would replace Rabbit Salad & Grill, which sold salads and cupcakes.

The restaurant opens at 4 p.m. at 3035 Clarendon Boulevard, according to General Manager Malachi Broadnax, who was at the restaurant Wednesday afternoon putting together the finishing touches.

Fifteen to 20 different kinds of sausages will be served. They include standards like spicy sweet Italian sausage to things off the beaten track like alligator Andouille and rabbit and rattlesnake, Broadnax said.
