ā¢ Supervisors weigh data center rules before any proposals (henrycountyenterprise.com) ā Henry County supervisors, including Collinsvilleās representative, are debating new zoning rules for data centers and battery storage before any projects are proposed, focusing on water use, noise, and economic tradeoffs. Several members say theyāre still researching impacts, while Collinsville Supervisor Chris Lawless opposes data centers but stresses the county must find new revenue sources to ease tax burdens and fund public safety.

ā¢ Man arrested in Henry County following interstate child exploitation investigation (wsls.com) ā Authorities say an 18-year-old Collinsville resident was arrested in Henry County after an interstate investigation into alleged sexual offenses involving a 14-year-old girl in North Carolina. The suspect faces multiple exploitation and child pornography charges in both states and is being held at the Henry County Adult Detention Center pending extradition, while investigators continue their joint inquiry.
