The Prince William County police arrested an Ashburn man Tuesday for allegedly stealing jewelry and other items at open houses and trying to sell them to pawn brokers in Loudoun County.

Erik David Johnson, 46, is charged with a series of burglaries at homes for sale in Gainesville. While touring the homes, Johnson allegedly stole more than $15,000 worth of jewelry, prescription medications and electronics that he later tried to pawn at several Loudoun businesses, the police said. >>> Read more.

Man Attacks Driver With Baseball Bat in Vicious Road Rage Attack

A road rage incident on West Glebe Road in Arlington yesterday culminated in one driver attacking another with a baseball bat.

Police spokesperson Ashley Savage said that the suspect cut off another driver, prompting the driver to honk. This apparently enraged the driver, who confronted the victim when they both stopped their cars. >>> Read more.
