Children and teens ages 10 through 17 years old are invited to come out to and learn about the weight room in the center. They will also be guided through free-weight strength training through a variety of exercises that work the basic muscle groups. Participants will be provided with mini-charts to illustrate safe training and correct form. After participants have successfully completed the class, 12 t0 15 year olds will have access to the fitness area and 10 to 11 year olds will have access only with enrollment in the class.
There is a $70 fee for eight 55-minute classes.
