Take an escape and learn a new technique with continual classes such as cake decorating, art and painting and scrapbooking that are offered on a regular basis. For example, on Sunday, Sept. 11, the store will host a glass painting event that will show guests how to use Martha Stewart paints to decorate glassware. Another event, held on Thursday, Aug. 30th, will demonstrate DIY jewelry-making techniques.

Need something for the kids to do? Michaels also offers Make-It-and-Take-It projects for children 3 years old and up to learn and create.
