Man Accused of Firing Gun in Dispute over Vehicle

Police said a man fired a handgun in a dispute with two men he had just sold a vehicle to.

A man is facing charges after police say he fired a gunshot on Wednesday at two people who had bought a vehicle from him.

Police said the incident happened around 11 p.m. on Wednesday at Rasheed Jamel McClaude's house at 5303 Yellow Turtle Place. McClaude, 27, had just sold a vehicle to two Woodbridge men, a 22-year-old and a 25-year-old.

The two men who had bought the vehicle came to McClaude's home to pick up paperwork for the vehicle, police said, when they got into an argument with McClaude. Police said McClaude assaulted the 25-year-old man and then pulled out a handgun and fired a shot near the two men's feet.
