Teenager Threatened with Gun

A Dale City teenager was reportedly threatened with a handgun on Wednesday when she went to collect money that she was owed.

Prince William County Police said the 15-year-old girl went to the home of a friend in the 4400 block of Eames Lane to collect money which she said was owed to her. While she was dealing with the person who she said owed the money, a teenage boy got involved and pointed a handgun at the girl. Prince William County Police spokesman Jonathan Perok said there were no adults present in the home at the time.

Perok said the girl hit the boy who had the gun and then left the house. She went home, and her mother contacted police, who went to the home but were unable to locate the boy who had threatened the victim. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
