Ceremony beginning at 10 a.m. will feature a Sherman tank.

Construction work will officially begin on the American Wartime Museum Wednesday morning with a groundbreaking ceremony beginning at 10 a.m.
The museum, to be built in Dale City near the intersection of Dale Boulevard and Interstate 95, is scheduled to open on Nov. 11, 2014. The museum is intended to honor America's veterans by telling the stories of the millions of American men and women who have served in the armed forces since World War I.
The museum will feature indoor and outdoor "landscapes of war" exhibitions and a collection of working military vehicles.
