ā¢ Averett University begins new year with new president amid ongoing financial stabilization (wset.com) ā Averett University in Danville is starting the school year under new president Dr. Tatia Daniels Granger, who is focused on stabilizing the universityās long-challenged finances. With nearly 300 new students arriving, Granger says finances have improved over last year but may still require property decisions and continued outside support to secure Averettās long-term future.
