ALEXANDRIA, VA — Is a cute kitten or guinea pig a good fit for your family? Consider adopting from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, which will allow adopters to name their adoption price on Saturday.

From noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, visit the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria to meet adoptable kittens and guinea pigs. One of the available kittens is Reeses, who is as sweet as his name suggests.

Nothing is sweeter than a Reeses...the kitten, that is. 3-month-old Reeses can't wait to find his future family, so much so that he engineered an entire adoption extravaganza this Saturday to help him and all his kitten and guinea pig friends find their new homes. Pretty impressive for a 3-month-old, huh? Reeses just returned from a stay with one of the AWLA's amazing foster caregivers along with his brother Popcorn, where they learned all the most important cat skills, from playing to sleeping and, above all, snuggling. Reeses would rate his snuggling skills as 13 out of Z, though fractions might not be his forte quite yet. If you'd like to meet Reeses, Popcorn or any of the AWLA's other adoptable kittens under 6 months OR any adoptable guinea pigs, you can stop by the AWLA this Saturday, August 6, from noon to 4 p.m. and walk in to meet them. Not only that, but when you find your purr-fect pig or kitten, you can name your own adoption price! So stop by the AWLA on Saturday to meet your new feline friend or pig pal!
