She went to the shelter after losing her home of 14 years, so she's looking for a gentle family she can trust. Thanks to a generous donor, her adoption fees are already covered.

Betsy is a very special cat looking for a very special family. Miss Betsy lost her home of 14 years, where she felt safe and loved, and came to our busy shelter. It was a huge adjustment for such a sensitive gal, but thanks to lots of extra attention from our staff, Betsy is starting to blossom. She has taken over a staff office and makes sure to supervise all of us as we go about our days. Betsy is deaf, but all you have to do is pick up a treat bag and she is at full attention! It doesn't slow her down one bit! Betsy is looking for a gentle house with gentle people who will give her space when she’s settling in and feed her tuna until she knows you're okay. She would do best as an only pet so that she can focus all of her energy on supervising people, not pets.
