Adoptable Alexandria Pet: Fees Paid For Friendly Gray Cat

ALEXANDRIA, VA — If you haven't set a new year's resolution yet, a good one could be giving a better life to a pet in need. There are various adoptable pets to choose from at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria's Vola Lawson Animal Shelter.

One of the available pets is Nicky, a senior cat looking for a loving human companion. She loves chin scratches and human affection balanced with quiet time. Her adoption fees have been paid by a donor.

Nicky here! People stop me all the time to tell me how b-e-a-utiful my long, grey fur is! I am very friendly and love the touch of my human. I like it when my chin is scratched and will rub up against you with the loudest purrs! I'm also an independent lady, and sometimes I like to sit quietly and just ponder life. I would love to sit with you as we think about where our lives will go from here…hopefully together!
